Brief Introduction to International Education School
国际教育学院成立于2012年4月10日，其前身为国际教育教学部。学院目前全面负责我校国际教育工作。学院现有来自美国、俄罗斯、尼泊尔、赞比亚等38多个国家的160多名留学生在这里学习。我校拥有中国政府奖学金、孔子学院奖学金及河北省政府奖学金招生资格，并运用全英文及汉语授课培养本科及硕士研究生。2016年6月，河北经贸大学中东欧国际商务研修学院成立，挂靠于国际教育学院，宗旨是做中国与中东欧经济发展的桥梁和纽带，成为中东欧经济发展的培训基地和智库。
International Education School was established on April 10, 2012, formerly known as International Education Teaching Department. Currently, the school is fully responsible for the international education work of our university. The school now has more than 160 students from more than 38 countries, including the United States, Russia, Nepal, Zambia and so on. Our University has student enrollment qualification of CSC Scholarship, CIS Scholarship and Hebei provincial government scholarship. We use both training methods of teaching in English and teaching in Chinese for undergraduate and postgraduate students. In June 2016, IBRIC of HUEB was established, attached to International Education School, aimed to be a bridge and link between China and CEEC economic development and to become the training base and think tank of CEEC economic development.
国际教育学院迅速成长，成为河北省拥有中国政府奖学金招生资格的院校之一。近年来招生规模不断扩大，生源结构日渐合理。2014年学历生人数首次超过语言生，学科覆盖范围包括国际经济与贸易、会计学、金融学、人力资源管理和计算机等专业，学科结构日益合理完善。
The School has grown rapidly, becoming one of the institutions in Hebei province that have the qualification to enroll students with Chinese government scholarships. In recent years, the enrollment scale has been continuously expanding, and the enrollment structure is increasingly reasonable. The number of graduates is exceeded those who study Chinese language for the first time in 2014. The discipline covers international economy and trade, accounting, finance, human resources management, computer and other majors. The discipline structure is increasingly reasonable and perfect.
国际教育学院人才培养包含本科教育、硕士研究生教育和汉语言教育三个办学层次。其中本科设有中文授课国际经济与贸易、会计、金融、人力资源管理和计算机等专业，还有全英文授课国际经济与贸易专业。硕士设有全英文授课国际贸易学和会计学两个专业。汉语言教育主要针对孔子学院的赞比亚2+2汉语国际教育本科项目、尼泊尔南亚师资班项目、尼泊尔2+2汉语师范教育本科项目，以及汉语进修留学生。
Talent training consists of three educational levels: undergraduate education, master's degree education and Chinese language education. The undergraduate courses in Chinese concludes international economics and trade, accounting, finance, human resources management and computer science as well as international economics and trade and accounting in English. The master courses in English concludes international economics and trade, accounting. Chinese education is mainly for the scholarship programs offered by the Confucius Institute, such as China-Zambia Joint Programs Chinese Major(2+2), South Asian Teacher Training Program and B.Ed. in CLT Program, and also for language students.
国际教育学院积极参与学科建设，狠抓教学质量，坚持教研相长，不断深化改革国际教育，逐步建立自身国际学生人才培养特色。作为河北省唯一拥有国家级国际学生全英文授课品牌课程的学校，以《国际商务管理》全外语授课品牌课建设为龙头，通过观摩教学、教学研讨等形式挖掘品牌课建设内涵，突出全英文授课特色，形成独有的国际教育学科培养体系。
International Education School actively takes part in discipline construction, focuses on proving teaching quality, constantly promote international education reform and establishes the cultivation features of international students. HUEB, the only university that has a national brand course for foreign students to teach in English, formed the special international education cultivation system such as International Business Management, it digs out the classes’ deep meaning by observation lesson, teaching research etc.
国际教育学院在人才培养模式、教学管理制度和教学质量保障监控体系建设等方面创新实践，全面提高教学质量。学院先后制定了一系列教学管理制度，这些规定和制度为国际教育教学工作提供了准绳，教学运行进入了平稳有序的新阶段。
International Education School makes innovation on personnel training mode, teaching management system , teaching quality supervision system construction and so on, makes series of teaching management regulations and rules, providing a standard for IES teaching works. Teaching operation steps up a new stage stably and orderly.
国际教育学院通过丰富多彩的教学活动项目，将课堂教学与课外实践相结合。学院先后组织了“一带一路的昨天、今天和明天——新疆项目”、“中国改革开放前沿——深圳行”、“中国文化探索——西安、曲阜行”以及走进君乐宝、巨力集团、中国电建集团河北省第一工程公司、河北外贸资产经营公司等企业，进行参观实习活动。在教学活动项目实施中，学院与新疆石河子大学、新疆财经大学、乌鲁木齐市第四十中学、河南大学及河北外国语学院合作互建国际学生实习基地，并成为共青团馆陶县委青年国际交流中心合作单位。
International Education School does combination of classroom teaching and extracurricular practice through colorful teaching activities, such as “Yesterday, today and tomorrow of Belt And Road-Xinjiang project”; “pioneer of China's reforming and opening-Shenzhen project”, “Chinese cultural exploration-Xi’an, Qufu project”. Besides, International students went to Junlebao Dairy Co. JULI GROUP co., ltd, China electric construction group Hebei first engineering company,Hebei foreign trade asset management company and other enterprises to visit. During the teaching activities, IES built the internship base with Shihezi University, Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics, Urumqi No. 40 middle school, Henan University and Hebei Foreign Studies University. IES is the cooperation institution of Youth International Exchange Center of Guantao County Committee of Communist Youth League as well.
